Increasing the return on your time and effort

Updated: Nov 30, 2021

A message of hope. Don’t give up!

What is the value of your time and your efforts? Unfortunately, for some people, the return on their time and effort is zero. No matter how much they do, the impact remains zero. For others, the return factor is 1 – whatever they put in, they just keep getting the same results. Then, for some, the compounded growth factor may be 1 or 2 percent above their inputs – they see growth, but it is always way below their expectations, taking forever to reach their objectives.

There often comes a time when you have to stop and acknowledge that what you are getting from life is not what you wanted or intended. You’ve been trying so hard, but nothing seems to work!

This situation is not uncommon at all, but the ability to change the outcomes you desire at will is relatively rare!

We all know the concept of action/reaction. Everything we do leads to a specific outcome.

If we are not happy with our outcomes, or the results we see manifesting in our lives, we have to change what we do. That is common sense, but this is not as simple in practice as on paper, as very few people can objectively assess and troubleshoot their behaviors – specifically identifying and changing the root cause of their present behaviors.

In reality, we keep repeating the same actions because we believe, subconsciously, whatever we keep repeating is correct. We may tweak little things here or there, but the bulk of our activities remain the same - those parts that really matter. Those parts we do habitually or even instinctively.

The key to understanding the science of action/reaction is that all these beliefs, habits, and instincts occur in the deepest recesses of your mind – your subconscious mind. These are not things we actively think about – they just are. But, as long as they remain there, they will continue dominating your actions and your results!

Sometimes it takes an outsider to help you get to the bottom of the matters causing unfavorable outcomes. Transformation coaches specialize in this. However, whether you consult a transformation coach or do it yourself, it always takes honesty – brutal honesty! It takes deep introspection and accountability for every action you take. And, then, perseverance! Permanent change does not come overnight!

If you don’t like what you are getting from life, I recommend you take a step back and consider the returns you get on your time and efforts. Then, question everything you repeatedly do to assess the value it adds to your desired outcomes and compare it to what it will take to achieve those outcomes.

If you don’t feel equipped to work through the process yourself, do not be afraid to ask for help. You may think the cost of hiring a coach is high, but think about the cost of repeated trial and error and delaying the removal of the root cause of your results. Think of the effect of improving your return on your time and effort to 2x, 5x, or even 10x! Working with a transformation coach can deliver such yields, and even better, relatively quickly.

Feel free to reach out to us to see if we can help your unique situation. But whatever you do - don’t ever give up! It is possible to improve your results to match your intentions. All it takes is to follow a simple scientific process, and very soon, you too can be seeing the compound effect of your well-spent time and effort.
